This class is an introduction to tapestry techniques for use with rug-weight projects. It is built especially for people who want to try tapestry weaving on their floor looms, but anyone interested in making rug-weight textiles is welcome! I also demonstrate projects on frame-type tapestry looms and this course works well for those as well. I assume that you don't know a lot about tapestry weaving and you'll learn how to set up your loom for weaving a rug-weight small textile.

I do assume that you know how to warp your loom and have some knowledge of basic weaving terminology. I include videos about all the basics after that including how to weave the techniques in these projects which include angles and curves.

The kit from Gist yarn includes enough Dwella weft yarn and Brassard warp to complete two projects.
