Four selvedge warping is a method of warping a loom for tapestry weaving in which the resulting textile has no fringe or hems. It also doesn't require a header and is basically finished when it comes off the loom. In this class we're going to learn this warping technique from a master, Sarah C. Swett. She gives us lots of useful weaving tips and I guarantee we'll make you laugh a little along the way also.

The course includes videos of Sarah and Rebecca talking about tapestry weaving in general and a wonderful video of Sarah weaving a piece and describing what she is doing while she does it. This technique also offers some added bonuses from the doubled warps and added ways to secure wefts and create finer forms. Sarah shows you these things throughout the course.

Rebecca Mezoff, author of the bestselling book, The Art of Tapestry Weaving, loves nothing more than helping new tapestry weavers untangle the mystery of making images with yarn.
